McPherson Friends of the Trail is a group of local individuals who are interested in developing and maintaining a section of trail just north out of McPherson on Northview St. Currently the group is keeping the trail mowed and sprayed for noxious weeds up to Pawnee Rd.
One bridge has been decked with composite material and is still in need of handrails in the first mile.
The trail is currently walk-able and non-motorized bicycles (mountain) can navigate the trail.
